Colorimetric process analyser for reactive silica in water-steam cycles and demineralised water production.
The AMI Silica is an automated analyser designed for precise online monitoring of reactive silica in water-steam cycles and demineralised water. The determination of silica is done by the photometric analysis of molybdate blue at 810 nm. With reliable, reagent-based measurement and optional multi-stream capability, it ensures early detection of silica breakthrough. Its user-friendly interface, low reagent consumption, and minimal maintenance make it ideal for efficient, high-purity water control in power and industrial plants.
Key Features
- Low detection limit – accurately detects reactive silica down to 1 ppb, ensuring early warning of contamination.
- Automatic zero – performs auto-zero before every measurement for high stability and precision.
- Selectable measuring intervals – optimises reagent usage with flexible measurement timing.
- Grab sample function – built-in, user-friendly grab sample feature for quick manual testing.
- Multi-stream monitoring – supports an optional second sample channel or automatic sequencer for up to 6 streams.
- High operating reliability and predictive maintenance through monitoring of sample flow and reagent fill level.
