Monitor AMI-II CACE Degasser (DG)

AMI-II CACE DG

Analyser for specific (total) conductivity, cation (acid) conductivity, and degassed cation conductivity.

The AMI-II CACE Degasser is an analyser that measures specific conductivity (SC), cation conductivity (CACE) with automatic EDI resin regeneration, and degassed cation conductivity (DCACE) after sample reboiling. The instrument also calculates sample pH and alkalising agent concentration based on differential conductivity. It enables precise detection of anionic impurities separately from CO₂, ensuring optimal steam and condensate quality in power and industrial plants.

Key Features

  • Complete system with transmitter, sensors, sample flow meter, EDI module and sample reboiler.
  • Continuous operation with automatic regeneration of the cation resin by electrodeionisation (EDI).
  • Continuous CACE and DCACE measurements, as cation resin is no longer exhausted.
  • No cation resin exchange, no chemicals for regeneration, no maintenance, resulting in reduced operating costs.
  • Highest sample degassing efficiency using a thermal degassing method.
  • Continuous determination of heater setpoint based on atmospheric pressure.
