The AMI-II Powercon Acid is designed for automatic, continuous measurement of cation (acid) conductivity. It measures conductivity after the sample has passed through a cation exchange resin, commonly known as conductivity after cation exchange (CACE), helping identify potentially corrosive ionic contamination. The analyser delivers real-time water quality information to support corrosion control, dependable plant performance and more effective maintenance planning.

AMI-II Powercon Acid Specifications
The AMI-II Powercon Acid combines the AMI-II Powercon transmitter, UP-Con1000-SL conductivity sensor and Catcon-Plus-SL flow cell. The complete analyser is assembled on a stainless steel panel and supplied ready for installation and operation.
The transmitter provides two signal outputs for measured values or continuous control, two relays that may be configured as limit switches or controllers, an alarm relay for collective alarm indication and an input for a potential-free contact.
The flow cell incorporates a manual flow adjustment valve, digital sample flow meter and integrated cation exchanger vessel with automatic deaeration.
