Contact-free turbidity analyser with infrared light source, for corrosion products trend monitoring in water-steam cycle.
The AMI Turbiwell Power is a high-precision, non-contact analyser designed for continuous turbidity measurement as trend monitor for corrosion particles in the water-steam cycle. The instrument has an infrared light source (860 nm) suitable to detect black and red colored particles. The contact-free optic design reduces maintenance and fouling, ensuring reliable and stable measurements. With its robust design, it enables consistent, real-time corrosion product monitoring in power and industrial plants.
Key Features
- Non-contact design avoids optical surface fouling and eliminates analyser drifting, enabling calibration-free operation.
- Infrared light source (860 nm) suitable for detecting black and red coloured particles.
- LED light source ensures long life and stable measurements.
- Heated optics prevent condensation effects for accurate results.
- Integrated constant head ensures stable sample flow to the measuring chamber.
- Manual or automated chamber draining for cleaning.
Turbiwell Power Specifications
- Non-contact turbidity (nephelometer according to ISO 7027) with control electronics, sample chamber, drain valve for chamber purging (manual or automated) and optional sample degasser.
- Complete system mounted on a stainless steel panel (400 × 850 mm), factory calibrated (formazine) and ready for operation.
- Measuring and control transmitter in an aluminium enclosure (IP 66), with two freely scalable signal outputs, simulation mode, potential-free alarm contact for programmable alarm values and instrument fault indication, and monitoring of maintenance requirements.
